Hide and Seek
In "Hide and Seek", Boris Katz explores themes of concealment and revelation. A perfect, pristine egg, cradled within a geometric frame, becomes the quiet focal point—symbolizing both perfection and vulnerability. Around it, textured, playful figures reach and peer, drawn to its presence yet unable to touch it. The piece holds a quiet tension, inviting the viewer into the delicate space between longing and the fear of attainment.
The exhibition 20x20x13 was curated by Tirza Yalon Kolton and held at the Gallery for Ceramic Design in Sho’eva in 2003.
